Le Merite Exports Limited is vertically integrated into the manufacturing and trading of cotton yarn and greige fabrics. Incorporated in 2003 by Mr. U. S. Lath, the company draws on nearly five decades of experience in the global yarn trade.

The beginning
Mr. U. S. Lath begins his career in yarn indenting and trading, building relationships across India's spinning belt.

Le Merite Exports Limited incorporated
The company is founded in Mumbai and moves from trading into the manufacture of cotton yarn and fabrics.

Export House recognitions
DGFT recognises the company as Export House (2010), Trading House (2014) and Three Star Export House (2016).

Greige fabric manufacturing
Le Merite embarks on greige fabric manufacturing with a setup of 114 air-jet Tsudakoma looms.
